Piersland House

Piersland House is a hotel, restaurant and bar based in Troon, South Ayrshire and have been successfully servicing customers for over 30 years. Piersland House has 2 restaurants, bars and function rooms, in addition to 37 stylish guest rooms. Room options include Lodges bedrooms, Mews Suites and double bedrooms inside the hotel building.

Piersland House is a traditional country mansion set in idyllic gardens and is a short 5 minute walk from the long expanse of Troon beach.

The hotel is easily accessible vai the main motorway network (M77) connecting to the rest of Scotland and is a ten minute drive from Prestwick International airport. A visit to Glasgow City is a mere 40 minutes away by car or train.

Now known as Piersland House, the original Piersland Lodge was built as a private residence in 1899 by the renowned Scottish architect William Leiper. It was the home of Sir Alexander Walker, grandson of Johnnie Walker, founder of the internationally famous Scotch whisky firm, Johnnie Walker. Sir Alexander was Managing Director of Johnnie Walker Whisky and he created Johnnie Walker Red and Black labels. It remained a family home until its conversion into a hotel in 1956 however it still retains its original country house character today.

A very popular wedding destination, Piersland House has glorious gardens and grounds spanning 2 acres presenting a truly inspiring setting for wedding photography.

Popular with golfers, the hotel is placed on the edge of Royal Troon Golf course, looking out across the ocean.

The hotel’s reputation for food excellence continues to grow year on year.
